Whether your TV is covered or not, dust and dirt always find a way to seep into and settle on your device. If you feel your Hisense TV is dirty and want to clean it, we have given a few guidelines on how to do it. Though cleaning might seem simple, you have to be careful not to damage any of its parts (External/Internal).
Required Materials for Cleaning Hisense Smart TV
Below are the required materials required to clean your Hisense TV.
- Micro Fiber Cloth
- Distilled water
- Mild washing soap
- Blow Dryer
- Vacuum cleaner (Optional)
- Lint Roller
Steps to Clean Hisense TV Screen
Follow the below steps in the same order as we’ve given. Since TV screens are mildly electromagnetic, they tend to attract dust compared to other parts. So it is wise to save it for last.
Note: Be it dry cleaning or wet cleaning, it is advisable to turn off your Hisense TV and its associated electronics for safety reasons.
- First, gently clean the dust and dirt on the TV screen using the microfiber cloth. Do not apply too much pressure, as this can damage the screen.
- Certain hard stains on the Hisense TV screen don’t go away easily and even fingerprint marks stick to it firmly. Water or a mild soap dissolved in it can do the trick. Just dip a new microfiber cloth in water, squeeze out the excess water, and ensure it is not dripping. Then, rub it on stains and remove all the dirt from the screen. Once done, use a blow dryer or let it dry under good ventilation.
Tip: Try using distilled water to wet clean your Hisense TV Screen. The reason why I say so is that tap water leaves water spots after it gets evaporated.
How to Clean Other Areas of Hisense TV
The below steps elaborate on how to clean other areas of your Hisense TV, such as the TV Sides, Connection Ports, Speakers, etc.
1. Pick up a dry cloth, preferably a microfiber one, as it leaves no trace and removes all the dust. Rub the dust away from the spots you can see. Start from the TV’s back and sides and get to the bottom.
2. There’s a trick to clean USB, HDMI, and similar other ports that are small. Find stuff that is small enough to be inserted into the ports, like a painting brush or anything similar. If you’ve got nothing, try blowing air into the ports with force and remove the dust.
3. TV Speakers are porous, and dust easily settles on those small pores. It is not easy to clean manually with a cloth. So, we recommend using a Vaccum cleaner or a Lint roller and suck out all the dust and clean your Hisense TV Speakers.
By using the above steps, you can clean the screen of your TV as well as other areas of the TV. After cleaning, your TV will look fresh and crisp. Turn on your Hisense TV, and you may even see a clearer picture and hear better sounds. Do remember that cleaning is a process that needs to be regularly done.
