How to Access Browser on TCL Roku TV
Roku TVs don’t have a built-in browser, and no web browsers are available on the Roku Channel Store. So, the only possible way is to screen mirror a browser on your PC/smartphone to your TCL Roku TV.
- You can screen mirror to TCL TV with Roku OS from an Android mobile & Windows PC. To do that, go to Settings → System → Screen mirroring → Screen mirroring mode and make sure to select the Prompt or Always Allow option.
- To screen mirror from an Apple device, make sure to enable the AirPlay on TCL TV.
- Connect your TCL Roku TV and participating device to the same WiFi.
After completing the above prerequisites, follow the methods below to start screen mirroring.
1. Android phone: On your phone, open the Notification panel → Tap Screen Cast → Choose your TV and tap Start Now.
2. iPhone or Mac: Open the Control Centre on your iPhone/Mac and select Screen Mirroring. Then, select your TCL TV → Enter the AirPlay passcode displayed & start mirroring.
3. Windows: Press the Windows + K keys at the same time and select your TV name from the Cast pop-up that appears.
4. Once your phone or PC screen appears on your TV, open a browser and start browsing. Whatever you search on your phone or PC will reflect on your TCL TV screen.
At the end of the day, using a browser on your TCL Smart TV is not very comfortable because it’s hard to navigate using remote buttons. However, if you are determined to use the browsers on your TCL Android/Google TV, stick with the methods demonstrated after simulating apps like ADB Mouse Keyboard and watch live web streams easily.
