How to Pair & Program Universal Remote to LG TV 

There are two ways to program and pair the universal remote to an LG Smart TV. They are discussed below.

With Remote Codes

1. Start the process by turning on your LG TV, then point your Universal remote to the TV and hit the TV button for 3-5 seconds.

Note: If you find any LG Button on your remote you can also press and hold it along with the TV button.

2. When the light on the remote blinks, enter the correct remote code one by one from the above-given codes. If the code you entered is correct, then the LED will stop blinking.

Tip: You should enter the code without releasing the TV button.

Without Remote Codes

1. Point your remote to the TV and press the TV or LG button if present. You should press and hold it until the LED light on the remote flashes.

2. Then press the power and TV buttons simultaneously. Hold it till the light flashes again. Now, long-press the Play button on the remote for 5 seconds.

3. After this process, your LG TV will turn off automatically. Thus, the remote is paired with your TV.
